NCN Fatherhood and Family Strengthening Curriculums and Programs

NCN offers training and Technical Assistance in the following programs:

Compadres Network (Extended Kinship Network) – Male extended kinship network that serves as a support and mobilizing group.

Leer es Querer (Reading is Love) – Literacy based fatherhood involvement program.

Respetar y Leer (Respect and Read) – A male involvement leadership campaign that challenges men to stand up against domestic violence
(respetar – respect) and sit down (leer – read) to read, play and spend time with their children.

NCN also provides training and technical assistance to agencies and groups who are working with fathers/men and coordinates training on the following curriculum:

Amor de Padre (A Father’s Love) – A training for trainers, fatherhood involvement program.

Cara Y Corazon (Face and Heart) – Bilingual, bicultural family strengthening and parent education.

Padres con Cara Y Corazon (Father with Face and Heart) – Fatherhood strengthening and parent education.

Raising Children with Pride – Young fatherhood education and manhood development.

El Joven Noble (The Noble Young Man) – Culturally based Rites of Passage, life skills development program for male youth.

Mothers Raising Boys – A four session curriculum focused on single mothers raising boys.

Hip Hop Conference on Student Achievement – “Achieving for Ourselves “.

INVOCAdignidad Par-a-teen – Parenting Curriculum. Platicas entre padres reenforzando nuestras tradiciones.

El Hombre Noble Buscando Balance (The Noble Man in Search of Balance) – Family violence healing intervention programs focused on men who struggle with issues of violence in relationships.
